Music and hope
Loss and illness are a part of life. People grieve and recover in many different ways. In fact maybe no two are the same. For many, music has been a tool for recovering from grief or illness. The right music at these crucial moments can “comfort and soothe.” We'd like to share stories from people who've endured loss or illness and rebuilt their sense of self. The storytellers range from a multi-platinum songwriter, to a noted sculptor and speaker on Grief and Creativity, to a NPR radio personality. The common thread has been the comforting effect of our music in times of pain.
